Chypre thảo mộc là nhánh D5 của họ Chypre trong bảng SFP. Nhánh này giữ phần đáy Chypre gồm rêu sồi, labdanum, hoắc hương, và thêm một lớp thảo mộc rõ: xô thơm, oải hương, hương thảo, ngải, cúc La Mã, húng quế.

Aromatic Chypre is subfamily D5 of the Chypre family in the SFP table. It keeps the Chypre base of oakmoss, labdanum and patchouli and adds a clear herbal layer: clary sage, lavender, rosemary, artemisia, Roman chamomile, basil.
The herbs make the heart dry, bitter and slightly medicinal, and join naturally with the earthiness of patchouli and moss.
Hai chai thường được nhắc. Pour Monsieur của Chanel (1955), do Henri Robert sáng tác, đặt chanh, petitgrain, neroli trên bạch đậu khấu, húng quế và nền rêu sồi, vetiver. Aromatics Elixir của Clinique (1971), do Bernard Chant sáng tác, kết hợp xô thơm, cúc La Mã với hoa hồng và nhiều hoắc hương trên rêu sồi.
Về thành phần: xô thơm cho linalyl acetate, linalool và sclareol; oải hương cho linalool và linalyl acetate; hương thảo cho 1,8-cineole và camphor; cúc La Mã cho các ester có mùi táo, cỏ khô. Hoắc hương cho patchoulol.
Quy định cần lưu ý: rêu sồi dùng hiện nay phải là loại giảm atranol: Quy chế (EU) 2017/1410 cấm atranol và chloroatranol, tiêu chuẩn IFRA giới hạn chiết xuất rêu sồi trong sản phẩm hoàn chỉnh. Dầu và chiết xuất oải hương, dầu hoắc hương, dầu vỏ bergamot, linalyl acetate, camphor, sclareol có tên trong danh sách dị ứng mở rộng của Quy chế (EU) 2023/1545.

Two perfumes are often cited. Chanel's Pour Monsieur (1955), composed by Henri Robert, sets lemon, petitgrain and neroli over cardamom and basil on an oakmoss and vetiver base. Clinique's Aromatics Elixir (1971), composed by Bernard Chant, combines clary sage and chamomile with rose and a large share of patchouli over oakmoss.
In composition: clary sage brings linalyl acetate, linalool and sclareol; lavender brings linalool and linalyl acetate; rosemary brings 1,8-cineole and camphor; Roman chamomile brings esters with apple and hay notes. Patchouli brings patchoulol.
Rules to note: oakmoss used today must be a low-atranol grade: Regulation (EU) 2017/1410 prohibits atranol and chloroatranol, and the IFRA Standard caps oakmoss extract in finished products. Lavender oil and extract, patchouli oil, bergamot peel oil, linalyl acetate, camphor and sclareol are named on the expanded allergen list of Regulation (EU) 2023/1545.
The SFP website publishes only subfamily names; perfume lists per subfamily are in the printed Classification officielle des parfums. Perfumes named here are commonly cited examples, not official SFP placements.

D5 is close to the Fougère family, since both use lavender and oakmoss; the difference is that Fougère is built around coumarin, while D5 rests on labdanum and patchouli. D5 also approaches A3 Aromatic Citrus when the top grows larger.

Nhánh này dựng được gần như hoàn toàn bằng nguyên liệu tự nhiên: bergamot FCF, chanh, petitgrain ở đầu; xô thơm, oải hương, hương thảo, cúc La Mã, ngải ở giữa; rêu sồi giảm atranol, hoắc hương, labdanum, vetiver ở đáy.
Cúc La Mã và ngải rất mạnh, chỉ cần lượng nhỏ. Ngải (wormwood) chứa thujone; cần kiểm tra quy định hiện hành trước khi dùng. Kiểm tra giới hạn IFRA và danh sách dị ứng EU cho từng nguyên liệu. Trang này không đưa tỷ lệ công thức.
This branch can be built almost fully with natural materials: FCF bergamot, lemon and petitgrain at the top; clary sage, lavender, rosemary, Roman chamomile and artemisia in the heart; low-atranol oakmoss, patchouli, labdanum and vetiver in the base.
Roman chamomile and wormwood are very strong and need only small amounts. Wormwood contains thujone; check current rules before use. Check IFRA limits and the EU allergen list for each material. This page gives no formula percentages.
