Phototoxic

Phototoxic vì chứa furocoumarin (angelicin, psoralen, bergapten).

Khi dùng trên da ở nồng độ vượt mức tối đa, da không được phơi nắng hoặc đèn UV trong 12 giờ sau khi áp dụng.

Trong thử nghiệm phototoxicity, phản ứng dương tính rõ rệt ở nồng độ 100% đến 3.125%. Phản ứng nghi ngờ ở 1.56%. Không phản ứng ở 0.8%.

Liều cao đường uống ở chuột gây giảm cân, suy giảm hoạt động, tổn thương gan thận. Mức NOAEL: 1.5 g/kg.

Phototoxic due to furocoumarin content (angelicin, psoralen, bergapten).

When applied to skin above maximum use level, skin must not be exposed to sunlight or UV rays for 12 hours after application.

In phototoxicity tests, distinct positive results obtained from 100% down to 3.125% concentration. Doubtful reaction at 1.56%. Negative at 0.8%.

High oral doses in rats caused weight loss, decreased activity, liver and kidney damage. NOAEL: 1.5 g/kg.

Angelica archangelica là cây thân thảo lớn cao đến 2.5 mét, họ Apiaceae.

Cây mọc hoang ở vùng Bắc Âu, được trồng làm thuốc và hương liệu. Rễ thu hoạch sau 1-2 năm trồng.

Angelica archangelica is a large herbaceous plant up to 2.5 meters tall, in the Apiaceae family.

Grows wild in Northern Europe, cultivated for medicinal and aromatic use. Roots are harvested after 1-2 years of growth.

Root oil contains small amounts of furocoumarins despite being steam-distilled.

Angelica seed oil rẻ hơn và là chất pha trộn thường gặp với angelica root oil.

Vì hàm lượng limonene, α-pinene, δ-3-carene cao, root oil dễ oxi hóa. Sản phẩm pha chế nên có chất chống oxi hóa.

Angelica seed oil is cheaper and a common adulterant of angelica root oil.

Due to high limonene, α-pinene, δ-3-carene content, root oil oxidizes easily. Blends should include antioxidants.

Angelica root oil có GRAS status. IFRA giới hạn 0.8% cho sản phẩm để lại trên da tiếp xúc nắng, ngoại lệ bath/soap/wash-off.
