Murraya koenigii là cây thân gỗ nhỏ vùng Nam Á. Lá là gia vị thiết yếu trong ẩm thực Ấn Độ và Sri Lanka, đặc biệt nam Ấn, cà ri, sambar, rasam.
Tinh dầu cất hơi từ lá. Sản lượng giới hạn.
Họ Rutaceae. Cùng họ với citrus và Cape May, không liên quan đến 'curry powder' (curry powder là hỗn hợp gia vị).
Murraya koenigii is a small tree of South Asia. The leaves are an essential spice in Indian and Sri Lankan cuisine, particularly south Indian, curry, sambar, rasam.
The oil is steam-distilled from the leaves. Limited availability.
Family Rutaceae. Same family as citrus and Cape May, unrelated to 'curry powder' (curry powder is a spice blend).
