Trong perfumery cosmetic, tonka absolute dùng được. Liều oral tối đa hàng ngày khuyến cáo thấp.

Coumarin up to 50 percent. Coumarin causes liver cancer in rats at high doses, FDA banned in food since 1954.

However dermal application of coumarin is not hazardous, pure coumarin is not a skin allergen.

In perfumery cosmetic, tonka absolute is usable. Low daily maximum oral dose recommended.

No data indicates dermal hazard in pregnancy at usual doses.
