Lavandin oil có thể ức chế sự kết tập tiểu cầu. Cẩn trọng khi dùng oral với người đang điều trị thuốc chống đông máu, sau phẫu thuật lớn, hoặc có rối loạn đông máu.

Lavandin là cây lai tự nhiên và nhân tạo giữa Lavandula angustifolia (lavender thật) và Lavandula latifolia (spike lavender).

Ba cultivar chính: Abrialis, Grosso, Super. Mỗi cultivar có chemistry riêng và mục đích sử dụng khác nhau.

Trồng và chưng cất chủ yếu vùng Provence, Pháp. Năng suất tinh dầu cao hơn nhiều so với lavender thật.

Lavandin is a natural and artificial hybrid of Lavandula angustifolia (true lavender) and Lavandula latifolia (spike lavender).

Three principal cultivars: Abrialis, Grosso, Super. Each has its own chemistry and use case.

Grown and distilled mainly in Provence, France. Oil yield is much higher than true lavender.

Lavandin Abrialis có 1,8-cineole cao nhất, dùng cho sản phẩm tẩy rửa, công nghiệp.

Lavandin Grosso có năng suất tinh dầu cao nhất, dùng phổ biến trong perfumery rẻ và xà phòng.

Lavandin Super có linalyl acetate cao nhất, gần với lavender thật về mùi, dùng trong fine fragrance.

Lavandin Abrialis has the highest 1,8-cineole content. Used in cleaning products and industrial applications.

Lavandin Grosso has the highest oil yield. Common in inexpensive perfumery and soap.

Lavandin Super has the highest linalyl acetate content, closest to true lavender in aroma. Used in fine fragrance.

Thường bị dùng như adulterant cho lavender thật do giá rẻ hơn và mùi tương tự.

Phân biệt bằng GC-MS, camphor cao trong lavandin (4-12%) so với lavender thật (dưới 1%).

Often used as adulterant for true lavender due to lower price and similar aroma.

Distinguished by GC-MS, camphor is high in lavandin (4-12%) compared to true lavender (under 1%).
