Lavandulyl acetate is a monoterpenoid ester occurring in lavender oils at a few percent. Available data does not indicate significant risk.
Skin. A 10 percent patch test on 25 volunteers produced no irritation and no sensitization.
Acute toxicity. Acute oral LD50 in rats exceeded 5 g/kg. Acute dermal LD50 in rats also exceeded 5 g/kg. Both values are typical of low-toxicity compounds.
