Hàm lượng 1,8-cineole và camphor cao hơn nhiều so với lavender thật. Sắc mùi mạnh, gần camphor hơn floral.
Tránh dùng cho trẻ em dưới 6 tuổi, đặc biệt gần mũi và mặt do nguy cơ co thắt thanh quản từ camphor và 1,8-cineole.
Không khuyến cáo trong thai kỳ và cho con bú.
Không nhầm với lavender thật. Spike có profile mùi và an toàn rõ rệt khác.
1,8-Cineole and camphor content much higher than true lavender. Sharp aroma, closer to camphor than floral.
Avoid in children under 6, especially near the face, due to risk of laryngospasm from camphor and 1,8-cineole.
Not recommended in pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Not to be confused with true lavender. Spike has a distinctly different aroma and safety profile.

Lavandula latifolia là loài lavender lá rộng, mọc thấp hơn so với lavender thật, ở độ cao 200-700m.
Sản xuất chủ yếu Tây Ban Nha (Aragón, Castilla). Năng suất tinh dầu cao hơn lavender thật.
