Gỗ thảo mộc là nhánh E5 của họ Gỗ trong bảng SFP. Gỗ vẫn là chủ đề: tuyết tùng, vetiver, hoắc hương, đàn hương. Thảo mộc như oải hương, hương thảo, xô thơm, ngải, bách xù, cỏ xạ hương chiếm phần đầu và giữa, cho cảm giác khô, xanh và hơi đắng.
Nhánh này gần với C5 Fougère thảo mộc. Điểm khác là phần đáy: Fougère dựa vào coumarin và rêu sồi, còn E5 dựa vào gỗ. Khi một mùi có oải hương nhưng thiếu coumarin, và gỗ chiếm phần lớn phần đáy, nó thường được xếp về E5.
Aromatic Woody is subfamily E5 of the Woody family in the SFP table. Wood remains the theme: cedar, vetiver, patchouli, sandalwood. Herbs such as lavender, rosemary, sage, wormwood, juniper and thyme take the top and heart, giving a dry, green, slightly bitter feel.
The branch is close to C5 Aromatic Fougère. The difference lies in the base: Fougère rests on coumarin and oakmoss, E5 on woods. When a scent has lavender but lacks coumarin, and woods make up most of the base, it is usually placed in E5.

Camphor, linalyl acetate, dầu tuyết tùng Atlas, dầu tuyết tùng Virginia, dầu hoắc hương, acetyl cedrene và Iso E Super có tên trong danh sách chất gây dị ứng mở rộng của Quy chế (EU) 2023/1545; sản phẩm mới đưa ra thị trường EU sau ngày 31 tháng 7 năm 2026 phải ghi nhãn theo danh sách này.
Terre d'Hermès (2006, Jean-Claude Ellena) và Vetiver của Guerlain (1959) thường được mô tả là mùi gỗ có cam chanh và thảo mộc; việc chúng thuộc E5 hay nhánh gỗ khác chưa được SFP công bố trên trang web.
Trang web SFP chỉ công bố tên nhánh; danh sách chai theo nhánh nằm trong ấn bản Classification officielle des parfums. Các chai nêu ở đây là ví dụ thường được nhắc, không phải xếp loại chính thức của SFP.
The woody part usually uses Atlas or Virginia cedar (cedrol, thujopsene), vetiver (nootkatone, khusimol), patchouli, and today many synthetic woody molecules such as Iso E Super. The herbal part uses lavender and lavandin (linalool, linalyl acetate), rosemary (1,8-cineole, camphor), sage (linalyl acetate, sclareol), wormwood (thujone), juniper (alpha-pinene) and thyme.
Wormwood and Dalmatian sage contain thujone, which is restricted under many rules. Camphor, linalyl acetate, Atlas cedarwood oil, Virginia cedarwood oil, patchouli oil, acetyl cedrene and Iso E Super are named on the expanded allergen list of Regulation (EU) 2023/1545; new products placed on the EU market after 31 July 2026 must be labelled according to it.
Terre d'Hermès (2006, Jean-Claude Ellena) and Guerlain's Vetiver (1959) are often described as woods with citrus and herbs; whether they belong to E5 or another woody branch has not been published by the SFP online.
The SFP website publishes only subfamily names; perfume lists per subfamily are in the printed Classification officielle des parfums. Perfumes named here are commonly cited examples, not official SFP placements.

Nhánh này dễ dựng bằng nguyên liệu tự nhiên: tuyết tùng, vetiver, hoắc hương cho đáy; oải hương, hương thảo, xô thơm, bách xù cho phần thảo mộc; bergamot FCF cho độ sáng. Guaiac hoặc cade tinh chế ở liều rất thấp thêm nét khói.
Hiệu ứng lan tỏa trong suốt của Iso E Super không có nguồn tự nhiên tương đương. Chọn loại ngải và xô thơm có thujone thấp, và kiểm tra giới hạn IFRA, danh sách dị ứng EU. Trang này không đưa tỷ lệ công thức.
This branch is easy to build with natural materials: cedar, vetiver and patchouli for the base; lavender, rosemary, clary sage and juniper for the herbs; FCF bergamot for brightness. Guaiacwood or rectified cade at very low dose adds smoke.
The transparent diffusion of Iso E Super has no natural equivalent. Choose low-thujone wormwood and sage, and check IFRA limits and the EU allergen list. This page gives no formula percentages.
