Ferula jaeschkeana là cây thảo vùng Himalaya và Trung Á. Thân rễ to, sấy khô, chưng cất hơi cho tinh dầu α-pinene cực kỳ giàu.
Họ Apiaceae. Cùng chi Ferula với asafoetida và galbanum, nhưng F. jaeschkeana có chemistry khác hẳn, terpene đơn giản thay vì sulfur compound hay coumarin.
Sản lượng giới hạn.
Ferula jaeschkeana is a herb of the Himalayas and Central Asia. The thick dried rhizomes are steam-distilled, yielding an extremely α-pinene-rich oil.
Family Apiaceae. Same genus Ferula as asafoetida and galbanum, but F. jaeschkeana has markedly different chemistry, simple terpenes rather than sulfur compounds or coumarins.
