Neryl acetate là ester chủ đạo của helichrysum (immortelle), với hàm lượng cao trong nhiều chemotype.
Trên da. Neryl acetate chưa pha loãng không kích ứng cho da thỏ. Thử nghiệm ở 10 phần trăm trên 25 người tình nguyện không gây kích ứng và không gây mẫn cảm.

Neryl acetate is the dominant ester of helichrysum (immortelle), present at high levels in several chemotypes.
Skin. Undiluted neryl acetate was non-irritating to rabbit skin. A 10 percent test on 25 volunteers caused no irritation and no sensitization.
Acute toxicity. Acute oral LD50 in rats exceeded 5 g/kg. Acute dermal LD50 in rabbits exceeded 5 g/kg.
