Thujopsis dolabrata là cây thân gỗ đặc hữu Nhật Bản. Tên Nhật 'hiba' chỉ cả cây và gỗ.
Tinh dầu cất hơi từ gỗ. Gỗ hiba có tính kháng nấm và mối tự nhiên, được dùng trong xây dựng truyền thống Nhật Bản (đặc biệt cho phòng tắm onsen).
Họ Cupressaceae. Cùng họ với hinoki và cypress.
Thujopsis dolabrata is a tree endemic to Japan. The Japanese name 'hiba' refers to both the tree and the wood.
The oil is steam-distilled from the wood. Hiba wood has natural antifungal and termite-resistant properties, used in traditional Japanese construction (particularly for onsen bathhouses).
Family Cupressaceae. Same family as hinoki and cypress.
