Tương tác thuốc. Có thể gây độc bào thai (dựa trên hàm lượng β-eudesmol).
Chống chỉ định toàn diện: mang thai, cho con bú.
Đường uống: thận trọng với huyết áp thấp, thuốc chuyển hóa qua CYP2D6.
Guaiol và β-eudesmol có tác dụng hạ huyết áp. β-Eudesmol có tính antiangiogenic, có thể ảnh hưởng phát triển phôi.
Tinh dầu chưa pha loãng gây kích ứng nhẹ; nhạy ứng đáng kể ở chuột thí nghiệm chỉ ở nồng độ 100 phần trăm.
Mùi đặc trưng smoky, deep, woody từ guaiazulene và chamazulene cho oil màu xanh sâu.
Drug interactions. Potentially fetotoxic (based on β-eudesmol content).
Broad contraindications: pregnancy, breastfeeding.
Oral: caution with low blood pressure, drugs metabolized by CYP2D6.
Guaiol and β-eudesmol are hypotensive. β-Eudesmol is antiangiogenic, potentially affecting embryonic development.
Undiluted oil mildly irritating; significant sensitization in test guinea pigs only at 100 percent concentration.
Distinctive smoky, deep, woody aroma from guaiazulene and chamazulene gives the oil its deep blue color.

Callitris intratropica là cây thông cypress đặc hữu miền bắc Úc. Gỗ có màu vàng đậm và tinh dầu có màu xanh sâu đặc trưng do guaiazulene và chamazulene.
Tinh dầu đôi khi được sản xuất bằng tách hexane trước, sau đó chưng cất hơi hoặc rectify để cô đặc.
Họ Cupressaceae. Khác hẳn với Mediterranean cypress (Cupressus sempervirens), chỉ chung họ thực vật.
Callitris intratropica is a cypress pine endemic to northern Australia. The wood is deep yellow and the oil has its characteristic deep blue color from guaiazulene and chamazulene.
The oil is sometimes produced by hexane extraction followed by steam distillation or rectification to concentrate.
Family Cupressaceae. Quite distinct from Mediterranean cypress (Cupressus sempervirens), sharing only botanical family.
