Lịch sử / History

Nopyl acetate được tạo từ β-pinene của nhựa thông qua phản ứng Prins với formaldehyde (tạo nopol) rồi acetyl hoá. Đây là một ví dụ về nguyên liệu hương liệu đi từ hoá học nhựa thông.

Nopyl acetate is made from β-pinene in turpentine via a Prins reaction with formaldehyde (giving nopol), then acetylation. It is an example of fragrance material derived from turpentine chemistry.

Trong nước hoa / In perfumery

Nopyl acetate dùng trong xà phòng, chất tẩy rửa và nước hoa để tạo nốt gỗ trái cây giá thấp.

Nopyl acetate is used in soap, detergent and fragrance as an inexpensive fruity woody note.
