2-Dodecenal là một aldehyde không no, xuất hiện chủ yếu trong tinh dầu lá rau mùi.

Trên da. Bôi nguyên chất trên da thỏ trong 24 giờ gây kích ứng nặng. Patch test ở 1 phần trăm trên 25 tình nguyện viên không gây kích ứng cũng không gây mẫn cảm.

Đường uống và da. LD50 cấp tính trên chuột vượt 5 g/kg. LD50 trên thỏ qua da dưới 5 g/kg. Hơi có thể gây kích ứng mắt.

2-Dodecenal is an unsaturated aldehyde occurring mainly in coriander leaf oil.

Skin. Applied undiluted to rabbit skin for 24 hours, it was severely irritating. A 1 percent patch test on 25 volunteers produced neither irritation nor sensitization.

Oral and dermal. Acute oral LD50 in rats exceeds 5 g/kg. Acute dermal LD50 in rabbits is below 5 g/kg. The vapors may cause eye irritation.
