Cỏ khô ngọt, caramel, hơi dừa; ấm như coumarin nhưng mềm hơn. Sweet hay, caramel and a hint of coconut; warm like coumarin but softer.

Lịch sử / History

Dihydrocoumarin có trong cỏ ngọt melilot (Melilotus). Chất này dùng nhiều trong hương vị; trong mỹ phẩm, EU cấm dùng khi là nguyên liệu hương do nguy cơ gây mẫn cảm.

Dihydrocoumarin occurs in sweet clover (Melilotus). It is widely used in flavours; in cosmetics the EU prohibits it as a fragrance ingredient because of sensitisation risk.

Trước đây dùng cho accord tonka và cỏ khô; nay không dùng làm hương trong mỹ phẩm bán tại EU.

Formerly used in tonka and hay accords; no longer used as a fragrance ingredient in cosmetics sold in the EU.
