Thujopsene là sesquiterpene có nhiều trong gỗ hiba (Thujopsis dolabrata) và trong dầu tuyết tùng Virginia và Trung Quốc. Hợp chất là nguyên liệu đầu để tạo một số dẫn xuất gỗ tổng hợp.

Thujopsene is a sesquiterpene abundant in hiba wood (Thujopsis dolabrata) and in Virginia and Chinese cedarwood oils. It is a starting material for some synthetic woody derivatives.

Thujopsene chủ yếu đóng vai trò là cấu tử của tinh dầu tuyết tùng; phần thujopsene tách ra được dùng làm nguyên liệu cho phản ứng tạo mùi gỗ.
