(E)-Geranyl propionate là ester propionate của geraniol, xuất hiện ở mức thấp trong vài tinh dầu thảo mộc.

Trên da. Patch test ở 4 phần trăm trên tình nguyện viên không gây kích ứng cũng không gây mẫn cảm. Bôi nguyên chất trên da thỏ trong 24 giờ không gây kích ứng.

Đường uống và da. LD50 cấp tính qua đường uống trên chuột và LD50 trên thỏ qua da đều vượt 5 g/kg.

(E)-Geranyl propionate is the propionate ester of geraniol, occurring at low levels in a few herbaceous essential oils.

Skin. A 4 percent patch test on volunteers produced neither irritation nor sensitization. Applied undiluted to rabbit skin for 24 hours, it was non-irritating.

Oral and dermal. Acute oral LD50 in rats and acute dermal LD50 in rabbits both exceed 5 g/kg.
