Tonalide (AHTN) là musk đa vòng khung tetralin, cùng thời với galaxolide trong nhóm musk thay thế cho musk nitro. Hai chất AHTN và HHCB từng chiếm phần lớn sản lượng musk tổng hợp toàn cầu.

Như HHCB, AHTN tồn lưu trong môi trường và được Ủy ban Khoa học về An toàn Người tiêu dùng của EU (SCCS) đánh giá nhiều lần.

Tonalide (AHTN) is a tetralin-type polycyclic musk from the same period as galaxolide, part of the musks that replaced nitro musks. AHTN and HHCB together once accounted for most of the world's synthetic musk volume.

Like HHCB, AHTN persists in the environment and has been assessed several times by the EU Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety (SCCS).

Trong nước hoa / In perfumery / 調香での使用

Tonalide dùng làm nền xạ và chất cố định trong nước hoa, mỹ phẩm và chất tẩy rửa, thường kết hợp với galaxolide.

Tonalide is used as a musk base and fixative in perfume, cosmetics and detergents, often together with galaxolide.
