Sylkolide là musk mạch hở của Givaudan, là ester cyclopropanecarboxylate. Khác với Helvetolide và Serenolide có vòng dimethylcyclohexyl, phần ether của Sylkolide là một mạch dimethylhexenyl không vòng.

Sylkolide is a Givaudan musk and a cyclopropanecarboxylate ester. Unlike Helvetolide and Serenolide, which carry a dimethylcyclohexyl ring, its ether part is an open dimethylhexenyl chain.

Trong nước hoa / In perfumery

Sylkolide dùng trong nước hoa để tạo hiệu ứng xạ mềm, mịn.

Sylkolide is used in fine fragrance for a soft, smooth musk effect.
