Nirvanolide là macrolide vòng 15 nguyên tử có nhánh methyl và một liên kết đôi, thuộc thế hệ musk vòng lớn được Givaudan phát triển gần đây. Mục tiêu của nhóm phân tử này là cường độ cao ở liều thấp và khả năng phân huỷ sinh học tốt hơn musk đa vòng.

Nirvanolide is a 15-membered macrolide with a methyl branch and one double bond, part of the macrocyclic musks Givaudan developed in recent decades. The aim for this group was high strength at low dose and better biodegradability than polycyclic musks.
