Globalide là hỗn hợp đồng phân của oxacyclohexadecen-2-one, cùng công thức với habanolide nhưng vị trí và cấu hình liên kết đôi khác nhau. Hợp chất được Haarmann & Reimer đưa ra, công ty sau này sáp nhập thành Symrise.

Globalide is an isomer mixture of oxacyclohexadecen-2-one, sharing its formula with habanolide but differing in the position and geometry of the double bond. It was introduced by Haarmann & Reimer, which later merged into Symrise.

Globalide dùng làm nền xạ cho nước hoa, mỹ phẩm và sản phẩm gia dụng, thường thay thế một phần musk đa vòng trong công thức hiện đại.

Globalide serves as a musk base in perfume, cosmetics and household products, often replacing part of the polycyclic musk in modern formulas.
