Cosmone là ketone vòng 14 cạnh có nhánh methyl và một liên kết đôi, về cấu trúc gần với muscone nhưng vòng nhỏ hơn. Hợp chất thuộc nhóm musk ketone vòng lớn do Givaudan phát triển.

Cosmone is a 14-membered ring ketone with a methyl branch and one double bond, structurally close to muscone but with a smaller ring. It belongs to the macrocyclic ketone musks developed by Givaudan.

Cosmone được dùng ở liều thấp để tạo hiệu ứng xạ ấm, gần xạ hươu, trong nước hoa.

Cosmone is used at low levels in fine fragrance for a warm musk effect close to deer musk.
