Allyl hexanoate (allyl caproate) là một trong các ester dứa tổng hợp lâu đời. Nhóm allyl làm mùi sắc và "thật" hơn ester ethyl tương ứng.

Allyl hexanoate (allyl caproate) is one of the older synthetic pineapple esters. The allyl group makes it sharper and more lifelike than the matching ethyl ester.

Trong nước hoa / In perfumery

Dùng trong accord dứa, trái cây nhiệt đới và hương vị thực phẩm.

Used in pineapple and tropical fruit accords and in flavours.
