Romandolide là musk mạch vòng thế hệ sau Helvetolide, cũng do Firmenich phát triển. Phân tử có hai nhóm ester, giúp dễ phân huỷ sinh học hơn các musk đa vòng.

Romandolide is a later alicyclic musk after Helvetolide, also from Firmenich. The molecule carries two ester groups, which help make it more biodegradable than polycyclic musks.

Trong nước hoa / In perfumery

Romandolide dùng để tạo nền xạ khô, sạch trong nước hoa và mỹ phẩm, phối tốt với các nốt gỗ và hổ phách.

Romandolide is used for a dry, clean musk base in fragrance and cosmetics and blends well with woody and amber notes.
