Moskene là musk nitro có khung indan. Cùng với musk tibetene, chất này bị IFRA cấm theo tiêu chuẩn công bố 2008 và bị EU cấm trong mỹ phẩm.

Moskene is a nitro musk with an indane skeleton. Together with musk tibetene it is prohibited by IFRA under a Standard published 2008 and prohibited by the EU in cosmetics.

Moskene không còn được dùng trong hương liệu.

Moskene is no longer used in fragrance.
