Ethylene dodecanedioate là diester vòng của acid dodecanedioic với ethylene glycol, nhỏ hơn ethylene brassylate một nhóm CH2. Hai chất cùng thuộc nhóm musk diester, rẻ và ổn định.

Ethylene dodecanedioate is the cyclic diester of dodecanedioic acid with ethylene glycol, one CH2 smaller than ethylene brassylate. Both belong to the inexpensive, stable diester musks.

Trong nước hoa / In perfumery

Chất này dùng làm nền xạ trong nước hoa, xà phòng và sản phẩm giặt, thường phối với các macrolide khác.

It is used as a musk base in perfume, soap and laundry products, often blended with other macrolides.
