Abies alba is the silver fir of central and southern Europe. The cone oil (templin oil) is distinct from the needle oil (silver fir needle oil), same tree, different parts.
Limited availability compared with the fir needle oil.

May be adulterated with pinenes, bornyl acetate, isobornyl acetate.
