Five oils for an afternoon made entirely of spreadsheet cells. Peppermint opens with an icy chill, eucalyptus and lemongrass follow to make the air open and fresh, and underneath, rosemary and cedarwood hold a firm woody-herbal base. Made for a closed office where you sit in one spot for hours. Tip: run the diffuser in cycles of 30 minutes on, 30 minutes off so your nose doesn't tune the scent out.

On opening. Peppermint (cool, sharp and clean); eucalyptus (strong, cool and wide open); lemongrass (fresh, green and clean); rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
Lemongrass can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
