idea hits, go now

4 oils · Herbal · Minty · code BL-1216

The urge hits and you just do it, no more stalling. Two drops each of peppermint, rosemary and eucalyptus make a trio that's icy, sharp-green and airy, and a single drop of basil adds a spicy-sweet twist. Perfect for the moment an idea pops into your head. If you're using it late in the afternoon, drop the peppermint to one so you can still fall asleep easily tonight.

How it unfolds

On opening. Peppermint (cool, sharp and clean); rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating); eucalyptus (strong, cool and wide open) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Basil (sweet and green with a hint of anise) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

FAQ

How do I use idea hits, go now in a diffuser?
Add Peppermint 2 · Rosemary 2 · Eucalyptus 2 · Basil 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of peppermint?
Swap peppermint for spearmint — same minty family. The blend will shift a little: spearmint is sweet and cool, softer than peppermint, with a hint of chewing gum.
When is the best time to use idea hits, go now?
Best in the morning, early afternoon, or right after a nap; avoid using it close to bedtime.
