Blend recipes · Energy & alertness
Afternoon shifts tend to drag, so four drops of lemongrass jump in first with a refreshing lemony-grass scent. Eucalyptus and peppermint follow, making the room feel like someone just flung the windows open, airy and cool. Great for the office, a shop or a front desk from 2 in the afternoon onward. If you have scent-sensitive guests, cut the eucalyptus to 2 drops; it softens but stays alert.

On opening. Lemongrass (fresh, green and clean); eucalyptus (strong, cool and wide open); peppermint (cool, sharp and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lemongrass can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
