golden hour on the roof

5 oils · Citrus · Floral · Woody · code BL-1863

Cedarwood and sweet orange split evenly at twenty-four drops each, like an evening glow over wood, lavender is soft, ylang ylang sweet, and geranium adds a touch of fresh pink. Warm and romantic like sunset on a rooftop; grab a cold drink and watch the sky change color. Mix the 90-drop batch in a large bottle; use 5–6 drops per session in the diffuser.

How it unfolds

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); ylang ylang (rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral); geranium (green and rosy, fresh and balanced) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

FAQ

How do I use golden hour on the roof in a diffuser?
Add Cedarwood 2 · Sweet Orange 2 · Lavender 2 · Ylang Ylang 1 · Geranium 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of cedarwood?
Swap cedarwood for sandalwood or patchouli — same woody family. The blend will shift a little: sandalwood is creamy, smooth and long-lasting.
When is the best time to use golden hour on the roof?
Diffuse it in a room, or mix a roller to dab on your wrists (diluted in a carrier oil).
