Frankincense and sweet orange open warm and cheerful, cedarwood and ylang ylang keep the middle steady yet sweet, and lavender and cinnamon close clean and warmly spiced. A well-rounded scent, like the ideal boyfriend: dependable, a little sweet, and never boring. The 48-drop batch is best premixed; if using it in a roller bottle, dilute it well because of the cinnamon.

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Ylang ylang (rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral); lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); cinnamon (spicy-sweet, hot and warm) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still); cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.
Cinnamon can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
