Weekends are for going out: cedarwood and sweet orange balance at four drops each, dry wood and fresh citrus like a short trip, and ylang ylang adds sweetness. Patchouli and geranium, one drop each, keep the scent interesting well into the evening at a roadside cafe. Mix the twelve drops in a pocket roller bottle; add more sweet orange for the beach, more cedarwood for the mountains.

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Ylang ylang (rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral); geranium (green and rosy, fresh and balanced) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings); patchouli (like damp earth and dark wood, deeply sweet) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
