Cedarwood, sandalwood and lavender in equal parts build a soft woody scent, like a rattan chair on the porch on a summer night, while one drop of bergamot blows in a little cool breeze. Nice for the living room in the evening, a balcony or the bedroom before sleep. Switch it on at eight at night, dim the lights and crack the door so the woods mingle with the night air.

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings); sandalwood (creamy, smooth and long-lasting) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.
Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
