Three deadlines crammed into one day; even breathing needs a plan. Five drops of lavender make a soft base, bergamot adds bright, slightly tea-like orange peel, cedarwood lines it with steady dry wood, and ylang-ylang sprinkles in a little sweet flower so it isn't dry. Good for your desk through a long day. Switch the diffuser on each time you finish a deadline, as a small reward for yourself.

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); ylang ylang (rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
