slow night in

3 oils · Citrus · Floral · Woody · code BL-0084

Fresh bergamot leads the way, creamy-smooth sandalwood supports from below, and a single drop of lavender stands in the middle as a bridge. A small, elegant blend, perfect for nights at home with no plans, just candles, books and tea. With so few drops, use it for a small room or a mini diffuser; for a big living room, double it, and you can add a drop of lavender for a cleaner feel.

How it unfolds

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Sandalwood (creamy, smooth and long-lasting) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser

Safety

Photosensitizing

Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use slow night in in a diffuser?
Add Bergamot 2 · Sandalwood 2 · Lavender 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of bergamot?
Swap bergamot for lemon or sweet orange — same citrus family. The blend will shift a little: lemon is fresh, bright and clean.
When is the best time to use slow night in?
Run the diffuser for 20–30 minutes before bed with the door closed, then switch it off or set a timer when you get into bed.
