You want to go to the beach, but you've used up your vacation days. Three drops of lavender make a soft floral base, cedarwood lines it with dry wood like pier planks, sweet orange and vanilla add a summery orange-cream note, spearmint dots in sweet coolness, and frankincense adds warm resin. Good for the living room on a Saturday afternoon. Turn on the diffuser, play ocean sounds, and imagine yourself on a beach chair.

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round); spearmint (sweet and cool, softer than peppermint, with a hint of chewing gum) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings); vanilla (creamy, sweet and cozy); frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
