Vanilla opens sweet and warm to welcome guests, cedarwood and sweet orange sit equally, dry wood meeting fresh orange, and lavender, frankincense and cinnamon close soft, deep and warmly spiced. A friendly, nicely layered scent for a housewarming. Start the diffuser 30 minutes before guests arrive, in the entryway and living room; in a big home, use two diffusers.

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); cinnamon (spicy-sweet, hot and warm) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. Vanilla (creamy, sweet and cozy); cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings); frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.
Cinnamon can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
