road trip in my head

5 oils · Citrus · Floral · Minty · Woody · Resinous & sweet · code BL-0750

A road trip in your head, no gas needed. Cedarwood, sweet orange and lavender split two drops each, giving dry wood, fresh orange and purple flowers; spearmint and frankincense add one drop each, sweet coolness and warm resin. Good for the living room on a weekend afternoon. Turn on the diffuser, put on your road-trip playlist, and look at a map of the places you want to go.

How it unfolds

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round); spearmint (sweet and cool, softer than peppermint, with a hint of chewing gum) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings); frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.

FAQ

How do I use road trip in my head in a diffuser?
Add Cedarwood 2 · Sweet Orange 2 · Lavender 2 · Spearmint 1 · Frankincense 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of cedarwood?
Swap cedarwood for sandalwood or patchouli — same woody family. The blend will shift a little: sandalwood is creamy, smooth and long-lasting.
When is the best time to use road trip in my head?
Turn it on when your head feels tight: before a meeting, after a long day, or when you need a few minutes to settle.
