Blend recipes · Stress relief

tired, not defeated

4 oils · Citrus · Floral · Woody · code BL-0738

Worn out, sure, but not knocked down. Five drops of lavender make a soft purple floral base, neroli adds bright white flowers, bergamot sprinkles on slightly tea-like peel, and a single drop of patchouli lines it with warm earth. Good for a home office late in the afternoon. Stand up and stretch, drink a glass of water, turn on the diffuser, then finish the last task of the day.

How it unfolds

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); neroli (white-floral, honeyed and clear) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. Patchouli (like damp earth and dark wood, deeply sweet) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

FAQ

How do I use tired, not defeated in a diffuser?
Add Lavender 3 · Neroli 2 · Bergamot 2 · Patchouli 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of lavender?
Swap lavender for geranium or ylang ylang — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: geranium is green and rosy, fresh and balanced.
When is the best time to use tired, not defeated?
Turn it on when your head feels tight: before a meeting, after a long day, or when you need a few minutes to settle.
