Please just calm down; everything will be okay. Eleven drops of lavender carry the main voice, smooth and steady; bergamot slips in a tangy citrus note, patchouli lays a warm earthy rug underneath, and peppermint blows a cool breeze over the top of your head. Good for moments when you're about to lose your temper. A small room needs about half, then sit down and drink a glass of cold water.

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style); peppermint (cool, sharp and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. Patchouli (like damp earth and dark wood, deeply sweet) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
