grown-up chill

4 oils · Citrus · Floral · Resinous & sweet · code BL-0649

Chilling like an adult: no bar needed, just an armchair and a warm lamp. Three drops of lavender open with soft purple flowers, bergamot adds slightly tea-like peel, frankincense lines it with warm resin, and neroli closes with elegant white flowers. Good for the living room in the evening with some jazz. Run the diffuser for 30 minutes, then let the scent settle on its own.

How it unfolds

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); neroli (white-floral, honeyed and clear) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Safety

Photosensitizing

Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use grown-up chill in a diffuser?
Add Lavender 3 · Bergamot 2 · Frankincense 2 · Neroli 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of lavender?
Swap lavender for geranium or ylang ylang — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: geranium is green and rosy, fresh and balanced.
When is the best time to use grown-up chill?
Turn it on when your head feels tight: before a meeting, after a long day, or when you need a few minutes to settle.
