Sad, sure, but you still got up this morning. Bergamot and sweet orange split three drops each, slightly tea-like peel blending with fresh sweetness like early sunlight; frankincense lines it with warm resin, and a single drop of geranium adds green rose. Good for the bedroom in the morning, while you open the curtains and fold the blanket. Switch it on 10 minutes before you wake so the citrus calls you up gently.

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style); sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Geranium (green and rosy, fresh and balanced) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
