Blend recipes · Stress relief

this too shall pass

4 oils · Citrus · Woody · Resinous & sweet · code BL-0787

Every rough patch passes eventually. Four oils, two drops each: sweet orange and bergamot open like a sunny morning, cypress raises a row of green trees against the wind, and frankincense sets a warm stone beneath your feet. Balanced and very pleasant. Good for the living room on hard days. Turn on the diffuser, brew a pot of tea, and write down the next small step.

How it unfolds

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style); sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Cypress (fresh, dry and clean like conifer wood) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

FAQ

How do I use this too shall pass in a diffuser?
Add Bergamot 2 · Frankincense 2 · Cypress 2 · Sweet Orange 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of bergamot?
Swap bergamot for lemon or lemongrass — same citrus family. The blend will shift a little: lemon is fresh, bright and clean.
When is the best time to use this too shall pass?
Turn it on when your head feels tight: before a meeting, after a long day, or when you need a few minutes to settle.
