Four oils in equal parts, four reasons not to go out: warm, spicy herbal thyme, fresh, elegant bergamot, dry-wood cedarwood and clean lavender. The scent is natural and balanced, perfect for the living room on a rainy day or a day off. The numbers above are a bottle-mixing ratio; use 4 to 5 drops each time. Thyme can be sharp, so if you're sensitive to scent, cut it by half.

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Thyme (warm, dry and herbal with a touch of spice); lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Thyme can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
