A sudden downpour arrives and is gone just as fast, leaving behind the smell of earth and leaves. Lavender and bergamot come in equal measure, purple herbs meeting fresh citrus, rosemary adds wet green leaves, and one drop of cedarwood is like a rain-darkened tree trunk. The scent is fresh and clean, perfect for the living room or a balcony on a summer afternoon. Open the window after the rain, then switch on the diffuser.

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style); rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
