Blend recipes · Energy & alertness
Orders pouring in so fast you can barely keep up. This is a bottle recipe: thirty-five drops of lemon open tart and fresh, twenty-five drops of peppermint add an icy chill, and twenty drops each of rosemary and clary sage bring sharp green and a warm, sweet note. Use the bottle gradually, five drops at a time. Perfect for an online shop desk; switch it on when you open your laptop to answer messages.

On opening. Lemon (fresh, bright and clean); peppermint (cool, sharp and clean); rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Clary sage (sweet, herbal, slightly musky and unhurried) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
