Juggling lots of tasks without getting frazzled sounds like a superpower. Six drops of lemon open tangy and bright, basil and rosemary, three drops each, add sweet spice and sharp green notes, and cypress and frankincense bring cool needles and warm resin. Perfect for a morning with way too many tabs open. In a small room, half the recipe is enough.

On opening. Lemon (fresh, bright and clean); rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Basil (sweet and green with a hint of anise); cypress (fresh, dry and clean like conifer wood) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
