weirdly productive

4 oils · Citrus · Herbal · Minty · Resinous & sweet · code BL-1119

Unusually productive, and even you can't figure out why. Four drops of rosemary lead green and sharp, three drops of lemon add fresh tang, two drops of peppermint bring icy coolness, and a single drop of frankincense keeps a warm base. Perfect for a morning when you suddenly want to do everything. If the scent feels a bit sharp, add a drop of sweet orange to soften it.

How it unfolds

On opening. Rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating); lemon (fresh, bright and clean); peppermint (cool, sharp and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Rosemary 4 · Lemon 3 · Peppermint 2 · Frankincense 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.

Rosemary 2 · Lemon 2 · Peppermint 1 · Frankincense 1 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Rosemary 12 · Lemon 9 · Peppermint 6 · Frankincense 3 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use weirdly productive in a diffuser?
Add Rosemary 4 · Lemon 3 · Peppermint 2 · Frankincense 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of rosemary?
Swap rosemary for eucalyptus or tea tree — same herbal family. The blend will shift a little: eucalyptus is strong, cool and wide open.
When is the best time to use weirdly productive?
Run it at your desk or study corner in cycles of 30 minutes on, 30 minutes off, so your nose does not tune the scent out.
