Two hundred unread emails: take a deep breath and begin. Three drops of rosemary open green and sharp, basil and peppermint, two drops each, add sweet spice and icy coolness, and a single drop of lemon brightens it all. Great for the office on a Monday morning. Tip: handle email in twenty-minute rounds, and run the diffuser once for each round.

On opening. Rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating); peppermint (cool, sharp and clean); lemon (fresh, bright and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Basil (sweet and green with a hint of anise) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
